Always pH

Just a tidbit of information on pH and why it is always pH and not PH, ph, or Ph. pH derives from the German phrase ďpotenz HydrogenĒ meaning the concentration of hydrogen ions in the solution. Since nouns are always capitalized in German, itís always pH, even at the beginning of a sentence.
