Amazon sword help

How do i grow these? I have mine's roots completely submerged in the rocks/gravel. Will it spread more swords this way? Is there a way to make it spread more plants at all? If so, how do i grow them? Please and thank you fo advice

Root tabs are essential for this plant to flourish. As far as propagation I'm not sure and wold like to know myself as I have one that's huge.

I grow mine in sand with root tabs. I find them very easy to grow. When your plant is old enough, it may send out a stalk like a runner, with new little plants. When these plants have roots the stalk can be cut between them and the separated plants can be planted. I've done this several times. You can leave the stalk on for a long time if you don't need more plants right away.
