Ammonia Alert? Good idea?

I saw this on Petco.com and was wondering if the thing was worth it. Thanks

I dont have enough experience to know if it works or not. My tanks are cycled so right now it reads safe. I would only use it if you are worried about amonia spikes in your tank. Your tank socks look fine, so no you proably dont need it.
