Hey everyone,

I found very conflicted information online, so thought I would ask the experts!
I have two angelfish that are a little larger than quarters, and my mom has fallen in love with discus. I have a 36 gallon bow front that has the two angels, a school of neons, and a few guppies. Would adding a discus be a recipe for disaster? or doable with young fish that could grow up together?

(Btw, tank is cycled with normal water params, PH around 7.6, live plants, weekly 30% water changes, and a 50-60% water change once a month)

Thanks!

The 36 is big enough for the angel pair as adults, but not for much else with them and I believe discus need even more room than angels because they get bigger and need really clean water.

The angel pair might not like the discus. You could probably do 1 angel and 3 discus, but not 2 angels.
