Hi all.
I have been keeping fish again for my second time round with an established tank.
Anyways i have two big angelfish in the tank with a couple blue rams and platies .
They have been fine together for awhile untilk i went on holidays for a week.
I came back to have lost a ram and to platies.no sign of them anywhere in the tank.
Is it possible the angels ate them? I had a ehim fish feeder which feed them a mix twice a day but i belive it was not enough at times.
I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else???
I can picture platies but my blue ram???!!!!
I was so pissed off.

Anything could have happened but yes fish can eat other dead fish. Have you checked your water. What could have happened it the feeder fed too much and your amnonia spikes. If you have a test kit I'd be curious to see what your water tests at for amnonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Another thing, do you have snails? Snails will always eat dead fish.

I was going to check it but I was so frustrated that I cleaned the tank with 25 percent change . I will check it again tonight to make sure.
I don't have snails.
Thanks for input.
