angelicus catfish question

i bought 2 of these from the store the other day and the stupid things just swim upsidedown on the top of the water... anyone have any input on this. it is pretty funny when u look at them tho. both of them swim upside down

do you have a whitish film on top of the water? maybe some food up there? i had a pleco that liked to do that once

I have some synodontis that do that occasionally. My guess is they smell something and are searching for whatever that is.

maby... is there any way to make them go to the bottom? i bought 2 of them and they both just swim upside down at all times on the top of the water it looks rediculous lol

Do you have anything at the bottom that they can explore? Sinking food?That may take them away from the top for a while. I don't know that you can 'make' them do anything. Mine have never listened to me lol
