Forbid me from entering the LFS, please ;p

I bought another 20L. Got a Penguin 175 on it, black gravel and some drift wood. Looks great. I'm putting convict cichlids in it to breed as Oscar food

8 in use. I have a little 2.5 gallon just sitting around and an old old old busted up Eclipse 3 missing the built in filter from in-laws.

Actually, many folks feed their bigger cichlids convict fry. Convicts are really easy to breed; as someone described it today they would "breed in a coke can if given the chance" LOL

Its not much diff from breeding guppies as feeders. Either way, it ensures the fish who eat live food are getting healthy SAFE live fish, and not some nasty diseased feeder from the lfs.
