Any suggestions?

I have a 65 gallon tank and am down to one tiger barb and one convict cichlid. I really want to repopulate my tank but am torn. I know adding new fish (any kind of fish) will be a crapshoot as both my fish are very aggressive. I would feel bad just rehoming them. Anyone have any suggestions as to tank mates and/or solutions?

+1 on this. I don't have experience with tiger barbs, but I have read that having them with cories is a big no no.

my tiger barbs get along just fine with my corys, have had them together for over a year and have never seen them even chase one. tiger barbs are egg eaters and could cause some issues if you get another convict and they are breeding.

Yeah sorry. Instead of the extra convict you could get another school of either Odessa barbs or rosey barbs or green tiger barbs or any other barbs except cherry barbs
