anyone ever use a black light on their tank?

Just curious if anyone has tried this. Some fish, and decorations if you have them, would look tripping if done in black light. I would hazard a guess my black neon tetras would look stunning in black light.

One of the lights that I used was a blacklight. It makes the fish look cool. But my plants didnt like it that much ha

you can use them, but they are useless for plants and will not replace the need for more natural light.

I used them once, the fish & gravel I had back then really "popped" out under the light. I didn't leave them on all day though.

I have black lights which are called moonlights on my tank. When the moonlights are on, to the fishes mind, the lights off, so this allows you to see their night behavior without scaring them.
