ok ive just bought a api gh and kh test kit, in the instructions for the kh test it says " the test is completed when the water in the test tube, after being shaken, turns from blue to bright yellow" when i add the drops its not blue it comes out of the bottle an orange colour then when i add a drop at a time it turns the water orange, i never see any blue or any yellow
And also
the gh test says the same as the KH but the colour is orange to green, but the colour of the test liquid comes out green and when added to the water it stays green could these test kits be out of date i only bought them today and i am definatly not getting the instructions for kh mixed up with the gh.
i heard that the code on the front of each bottle gives the date they were made, the last four digits say when they were made in 2009
And also
