API Stress Coat?

I am starting a seventy five gallon planted tank, and i want soft water fish like angels, and tetras. My water is about 150 gh last time I checked. I am looking for a chemical water softener, would stress coat help soften my water?

Afraid not that I know of. Stress coat makes tap water safe plus says it improves the slime coat on fish.

No, sorry - mainly I match fish to the water. Does your lfs stock what you are after? You could see what the lfs stocks and if they have similar water specs to yourself. If so probably a good chance with them.

Yes, my local fish store has my general stock. I will ask for their water parameters, I'm just worried about lemon tetras not showing their color in hard water, but the ones at my lfs look amazing. Thanks!
