Rather than hijacking another thread, which I started to do, I figured I best post this in my own thread. Will apple snails survive with goldfish 5-8" in length? That would be so awesome!

Depends on the size of the snail and the size of the mouth the fish has. Anytime I have tried snails with goldfish (although they were regular pond snails), the goldfish would eat them.

If you get big ones (say 2-3") they should be all right.
BTW - how big is the tank? Big Apple snails makes as much waste as a goldy! so you need a good size tank to have the 2 together.

The tank isn't very big, I do water changes every 2 days on that tank. LOL. I realize that apple snails are messy. Hmmm more to think through. Now I have to decide on whether to get yet another tank.
