Aquarium Salt with betta

Once again I am doing my reading concerning my Betta. Should I be able to add a little like tsp of aquarium salt with my PWC? I was on the Betta talk website and I was advised. Thanks for the advise.

Theres no reason to. Its a good teeatment for some things, but a waste of time to use as a prophylactic. Clean water will serve you better tk keep fish healthy than salt would.
