Hey, I'm new to the whole aquarium owning and i was hoping i could get advice on what websites would be good to order aquarium supplies; plants, fish, ect.

Hi and welcome! Do you have a tank yet?

First, read these:

If you have't gotten the tank yet or if you have one but have no fish:

If you have the tank and fish:
I just learned about cycling but I already have fish. What now?!

As for buying online, there are many sites, just try to research them and make sure they are reputable and the sellers have good feedback.
Bigalsonline and that fish place are both good for various supplies;
I've gotten most of my plants and fish from members on here; check out our classifieds section.

Well if possible, I would go to the lfs for fish, but petmountain.com is a decent site for supplies. And do look at the links above me ^

I ordered pretty much all my equipment from Amazon.com and drsfosterandsmith.com.

Thanks! Any ideas on beginner aquatic plants?

That depends on the lighting you are planning on buying. Do you have an idea of what kind of lighting you want?

I'm not an expert on light. But I don't want that fake Purple looking light. I want a more natural light. I tried the sun but that made too much algae growth.

Amazon sword, Java fern, and Java moss are all pretty good starter plants and also low light plants. Amazon sword will take as much light as they are given
