hey guys,
new on the forum (just signed up today)
i have been saving up for a four foot tank. i was wanting to make it community style. i was going to stock it with a breeding pair of bolivian rams, eight cory cats, and ten cherry barbs. it would have quite a few plants in it. i really want to get just one archer fish for the community tank and ive heard they are peaceful but will eat smaller fish. if it's the archer or the cherry barbs though, i would choose the archer fish. can they live in the same tank?
thanks everyone.

Archer fish are full brackish water, nothing else you mentioned are. They do best in a species only, mangrove setup. Awesome fish. They're on my list. They shoot bugs down with a jet of water!!! NATURE!

I live in Australia.
Some species here are fully freshwater, and I’m getting one of them.
I was just checking in terms of compatibility.
But thanks for the answer

Yah they can tolerate fw but they are a brackish species. If you gave them an option they'd always go to brackish waters.
