I have a mixed batch of 8 guppy fry of different ages
The oldest are 2 3 week olds about 1/2 inch long
Can the biggest go into the main tank where the largest fish is a 1.5 inch guppy with pretty small mouth- maybe 3 millimeters?
I really don't want to lose any of them but the breeder box is getting crowded with eight fry in a 4.5x2.5 in breeder box

Why don't you just put the fry into a bucket and wait a week of or so? I done that with mine when I bred them.

If they do get over crowded nothing will happen, it will only be like this for a few weeks maybe a month max. So I agree with the person above me, just wait until your sure.

Well some things you should make sure they are and can do before putting them into the main tank are

Make sure they can compete for food
Swim away and hide if picked on
E big enough to not be eaten

Once those things are met the fry should be ready to go
