I've got 2 adult guppies and several adolescent guppies that are slowly growing into adults. They are in a 10 gallon brackish tank.

They were very active earlier today until I changed the water. The majority of them are hanging out at the top of the tank near the filter just kinda looking around like, "What the **** just happened?"

The water temps are fine; I checked the temp after adding water and it was no more than 0.3 degrees different. I added a fresh scoop of salt (yes I mixed it with water before adding it). Basically I did everything I normally do.

I hope I didn't do anything wrong. I assume they will be fine. It is just very weird to see them so still. They are ALWAYS very hyper!

Now the temp is reading 1 degree or so below what it was earlier.

The only thing I can think of is that the thermometer isn't dead-on anymore and that the water was a little colder than what they are used to.

They are now moving around the tank but still not as hyper as normal.
