Our 80g BW tank before and after. Lost a lot of the plants when we re-set up the tank. They're slowly recovering.

And our 40g before and after. Before shot is when we first set it up almost 3 years ago now, after is how it looks now after a substrate change.

Did you take out the sword out of the pot? Looks like it on the second pic. Tank looks nice :)

Thank you very much! And actually, I kept the pot. Swords do tend to grow pretty big, so I hoped the pot would stall the growth so it didn't crowd my tank. I just buried the pot deeply into the gravel.

For what it's worth, that tank is BEAUTIFUL. It sounds kinda awful, but I almost love the underwater jungle even more than actual fish itself. I hope to have a tank like yours someday.

Looks really nice! :D

Aw thanks y'all.

That 40 is my pride and joy. It's home to 2 pairs of happy kribs, soon to add a 3rd pair, this time albino. It was supposed to be for GBRs but never had luck with them in there.

Not to say I don't love my 80, but ever since we had to tear it down to put in hardwood floors and set it back up I've had problems with my plants. *Mutters and shakes my fist at my hubby*

Hey, I have that same tall green plant on the left! (the last pic)

Still not as amazing as DragonFish71's tank, but this is mine after upgrading to a 29-gallon tank from the ten-gallon you saw before.
