I want something to transfer my cory eggs to. Is the kind with suction cups better? I've never purchased or had a net breeder before and amazon has several choices.

None! In all seriousness, the fish can get stuck in the mesh. You should get one of the HOB breeder boxes, I believe marine land has them.

+1 on the HOB box

But when the eggs hatch, I would recommend transferring the fry into a different tank, preferably a fry only tank, until they are big enough to survive in a community tank.

Agreed, HOB boxes if you have only a few fry, you can get them pretty cheap at petsmart. If you have more than that go for making your own breeder tank:flowers:

Ok. AMAZON has a Finnex refugium breeder box with air pump. It's hard plastic and hangs off the side of the tank. It's $30 does that sound about right? I assume the fry do need the air circulation.

Yes, it's like a mini filter thing going on with the air pump
