Best way to acclimatize new fish?

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has any good techniques of acclimatising new fish? I have always opened the bag and let the fish float in it for an hour or so then leave the lights off for a while but yesterday I heard about a drip method that sounds good and I was wondering if any of you had any different/ better ways you do it?

I recently started using drip acclimation. I love it it is low maintenance, easy to setup and supposedly the best way. Takes longer though.
