Betta

I wouldn't keep a betta with zebra danios, especially if you have an empty 10 gallon he can go into. Personally, what I would do is make sure the 10 gal (the one without danios) is cycled, and that you change the water weekly. Once it is fish safe relocate the betta and, if you want other fish with him, add a some Pygmy cories. They are smaller so you can have more of them, which will make them happy. I think 4 is the minimum number, and the more the better. The only thing I would watch out for is your filter. A betta doesn't need much filtration at all, but with cories you will need more. Just keep in mind you'll need a stronger, but still low flow filter for the betta.
