Betta stuck in filter

Okay awesome. I'll most likely end up going to get some of that because I see him still trying to get sucked into it but he ends up wiggling super fast to swim away.

I would watch mine swim up and wait for it to get stuck and every now and then he would get off it for air and go back to the pickup tube. Or he would rest on plant leaves and do the same thing

IMO you either had an extremely lazy Betta or there was an underlying problem causing him to be weak. I think of it as a person being stuck on a vacuum all day. That can't feel good and it's not normal. Don't want to start and argument but a healthy fish doesn't do that. Even my laziest Betta doesn't get stuck to the filter input.
