Betta type?

I got this guy because he looked neat. I tried to look up what this tail type is called and can't really find anything like it online. It looks lyre shaped to me, but apparently that doesn't exist. Any thoughts?

Veil tail with partially missing caudal? Hopefully after you have him for awhile in a nice warm tank it'll grow back.

Thanks for the reply. After looking around the internet, I was starting to think that too. Oh well. I think he looks cool, whether it grows back or not. I mostly picked him for his color and feisty personality
