I have a emperor 400 on my 60 glalon and was wondering if I could add a bag of accuclear biomedia to the gray cartridges?

If you wanted... I run ceramic rings in mine.. was kind of a tight fight, but it works

Can i just open bag and split it up between both cartridges??

And no other prepping needs to be done?? I already have soaked them in water to rid of any dust

just a fresh water rinse is all they needed. looks like you're good to go

i tend to bag all my media in either nylon, or cut up pantyhose. makes for much easier cleaning of filters.

I just opened the bag and separated between the two cartridges
