In my experience Siamese algae eaters will eat small amounts of it, if there is a lot of it in your tank you may want to considor a bleach dip. What is the BBA growing on?

They ate all mine and haven't had a problem since. (I had to drive an hour away and the store only had two, but those two fish have been soooo worth it!)

That's what I've heard. They are never at my lfs though. But if they ever are you better believe I'll get a few.

May the force be with you.

The SAE doesn't look a whole lot like the CAE so just look it up on google.

Yes SAE has the "black line" and CAE are gold color

I have figured the algae is Staghorn Algae... same thing as black beard?

Not really, pretty sure it is usually flow related but I could be wrong.

On aquascape.com it identified my BLACK algae as "Brush Algae". This according to the site; is the only one that is black.
VERY hard to get rid of
Only thing that will eat it is SAE

Spot treat it with hydrogen peroxide, flow related means not enough or too slow water flow in affected areas

That would make sense. It is growing away from air stones and filter outflow......
