I'm thinking of adding a BGK to my current setup and was wondering if there are any concerns. I have a 6' 150 gallon tank. The current stocking is 6 Geophagus Altifrons, 5 adult angelfish, 2 striped Raphael cats (which I never see) and about 25 Coryfoda Metae and 10 Corydora Adolfoi/Duplicareus.

I've kept a BGK in the past but with different stock.

The only thing I always really worry about is the corydora.

I don't know how big the mouth of a BGK gets but most all "monster fish" will eat anything that can fit inside their mouth.

I agree with both points. The BGK should get more than large enough to try to swollow a cory and that is likely to be fatal.

Well both. Big fish don't discriminate, it they think they can eat it, then their going to tey
