As much as I love mine, they do frustrate me a bit. Why? They steal everyone's food! They will pick up the Cories' pellets and attempt to eat them, moving them all about the tank. I have been thinking about getting some larger sinking foods for the Cories, but am unsure if that will work. What do you think?

Thanks!

I love my black skirts but they are hogs. Even eating shrimp pellets whole. I have cories, a male Bolivian ram and kuhli loaches. Here's what I do: I have round sinking bottom feeder tablets and those sink real fast. With the shrimp pellets, I place them in the filter outflow. They get a speedy ride to the bottom.

I call mine my piranhas... I drop all food into the flow of my filter so it sinks down and the other fish can catch it on its way up.

My guys even go as far as going down to the bottom and picking up the darn shrimp pellets! LOL. I am always so worried my Cories don't get enough to eat.
