Bloodworm from ebay is safe?

Hi,

I found bloodworm on ebay, 100g for 12$, from Sri-Lanka.
It's safe? There is any chance that dry bloodworm will infect my fishes with parasites?

Freeze dried bloodworms won't give your fish parasites but live bloodworms can. Are you in the US? If so I wouldn't get blood worms from Sri-Lanka.

I would look for bloodworms in the country your in. You never know the quality of foods that you get from other countries.

+1 it's a good deal, and I know it's hard to walk away from, but the lives of your fish are at risk with it.
