So I use to feed my angelfish and black ghost knife bloodworms. I always use freeze dried because my wife won't let me put worms in fridge. So didn't use frozen.

I noticed since I started using bloodworms I have cough frequently or flu and sneezing. Recently I had one asthma attack and wheezing sound with breathing. I Google and found out many people are allergic to bloodworms and specially freez dried because mosquito larvae and the very fine particles which gets in air and then to lungs.

For few days I didn't open bloodworms container and I am now feeling fine.

My question is that:

1) Anyone here who face allergy because of freez dried bloodworms?

2) If I am alergic to bloodworms can I switch to freez dried brine shrimps?

Please help.

I know a few other keepers who are allergic to bloodworms. They now stay FAR AWAY from them...
They have switched to BLACK WORMS and have had no problems.
Some say the black worm is more nutritious for the fish also....

Thanks. Just I didn't saw here. Will find from LFS. Didn't see in my near LFS. Thanks for reply. I guess then brine shrimps will also be ok because problem main is bloodworms have mosquito larvae.
