Boiling driftwood

I found some freaky big driftwood that is perfect for my tank and i MUST have it. My question is how long should I soak it and how will I be able to boil it? Its like 3'x2' so way too big for a pot on the stove. Is there another way to dis infect it?

How about in a bathtub with hot water then adding boiling water from a large pot on the stove?

I found all my drift wood in a river near by, all i did was scrub it with a brush and burn it with a torch and then rinse it off again and i put it in and have already done the same thi g for 2 more and got some for my friend and brother did same thing, never had any problems all fish pleco and snails love it... Good luck
