any tips to make sure my neon tetras get there food as my rasborus seems to be nicking the food before my tetras can get some

Unusual for neon's not to get food as there around the same speed as Rasboras, I keep mine with Rasboras and they get food fine.

I wouldn't use sinking pellets with neon's as they don't bother with them, I use algae wafers from my clown loaches and cory cats but rest of my fish don't eat them.

Feed the rasboras at one of the tank and the neons at the opposite side. If using flakes, sprinkle them on one end so they float. While your rasboras are going crazy for those. Get a pinch of the food and while your pinched fingers are underwater let it go at the opposite side. It'll immediately sink and your neons will be able to eat.
