Brackish testing

For testing brackish water can I use an api master kit or do I need the saltwater version of it?

Fresh should work with exception of pH.
The color between the two are very close but you can compare for yourself if you choose.

I believe the FW kit is accurate for low-end brackish to mid end, from what I've heard.
I think I would have to use a salt kit for anything over 1.012, but that's just my opinion.

The reagents in an API kit are all the same for FW or marine.
It is only the color on the cards that is different.(use the link)
That and as I mentioned whether you need to use standard or high range pH kit.(they are different reagents.)
