I breed guppies in my 55 without trying. Cool how may could I put in one 20 gallon long tank

I estimate the max to be around 10 shrimp per gallon. It's a really generic thing, since they have such a small bioload.

not really, just use a high quality sinking pellet or wafer, NLS is good, or anything with a good amount of spirulina in it.
Be careful not to overfeed, they only eat tiny amounts, they can actually live on the algae alone if they had to, so keep that in mind.
