Brine Shrimp advice

Hello. I have a 2.5 gallon awuarium with a screen lid, a tube of Brine Shrimp eggs and aquarium salt. I am trying to start a self-sustaining colony of b.shrimp so I can use them to feed my fish and any future breeding colonies...

What advice do you have and or how did you have a successful Brine Shrimp colony in a aquarium?

Lol, sorry to hear. I had them a few years ago on a smaller scale and they were going strong til I went to my dads for a weekend and my family overfed them. Thought I would try again and helopefully get them going enough to be feeders as I prefer live food over frozen or flake/pelleted.
