Brown algae in tank

I have 135 gal freshwater tank, had green algae bloom, now brown algae bloom. I bought lots of plants, getting brown, bought 5 octos. Is there anything else I can do?

What are your water readings and how long is your light on and how long has the tank been set up

Definitely need the tank stats and also a picture of the algae so it can be correctly identified before advice can be given.
