Ok so I have a 10gal tank with a ton of rock work and some nice dark substrate

My idea was to have bubbles escaping from under the rocks

I purchased some "stealth black" airline tubing to blend in with the tank

How could I accomplish this?

Would it be a matter of poking some holes in the tubing and snaking it under the rocks?

I guess if I did that I would need to cover the end of the tubing with some sort of cap

It would depend on the size pump you have, if its smaller all the air won't even make it to the end of the line and escape out the first couple holes. If its big enough it could work, or you could get a long bubble strip, they make them pretty narrow and able to be hid now.

You have right idea. Clip the end of the airline and snake it below the gravel. Make sure you puncture enough holes throughout the airline so that there's no back pressure on the pump.
