OK, I saw something today in my aquarium that made me do a double take!
Around the entire back of the aquarium, all of both sides, and about 1/2 of the front, right at the top level of the water, the top 1/8 inch is all bubbles (not the entire surface of the water, just along the sides of the glass)! I've never seen this before, it's just never happened.
I seem to remember something about gouramis building bubble nests? Is that what they look like? And why would my gourami be building it (if he is) when there is no female in the tank with him? After reading descriptions of the finnage of males and female blue gouramis, I am almost positive I have a male.
