Calling all betta owners!

Finally got a lid for my 3 year olds 5 gallon tank. So I'm currently seeding the filter for her tank in my 55 gallon tank. Now I'm wanting to do solely a Betta tank and I'm hoping you all could post pics in this thread of your betta's. I'm also trying to decide on plants and substrate also as I know betta's are sensitive. And the tank will be running an aqueon whisper 10 filter as well as a heater to make it cozy at 79f. Bettas stay near the top of the tank a lot of the time so I am not sure substrate matters that much. I have sand with my Betta, some rocks, plants and driftwood. He seems to like to explore and he rests in the plants.

I have fluval planted tank substrate in my 5 gallon betta tank. For a foreground or carpet plant add some anubias or hemianthus calitrichoides. Dwarf baby tears. Mid could have crpts. I had some vallisneria for the background.
