Can fish eat asparagus?

Bit of an odd one, my mum boiled some asparagus in with some carrots broccoli and potatoes and it was a bit under cooked and didn't go down to well so there is lots untouched! ? Would it be ok to feed this to Platies and White Cloud Mountain minnows? And if so how would I go about it? Thanks!

Its green. Wouldn't hurt. If they don't you can just remove it later.

I dont think they'll eat it.. It's very stringy. Might be a tough bite for a tiny mouth..

Ok thanks for the help guys, I tried them with a little bit and only one of my Platies was brave enough to take it on! I think I will stick to peas next time ?
