Can i get this fish with my others?!

I currently have a 10g tank and am in the process of switching to a 55g. I have a parrot and a bala and I wanna know if I'll be able to get a figure eight puffer fish next. Someone help!

Figure Eight Puffer fish are brackish, so, no. Also, the Bala Shark is too big for a 55 gallon tank, 75+ is the recommended minimum.

Bala sharks are also social so you'd need to get your shark some companions of his own species.

Yeah, forgot to mention that. IMO, a 55 gal can't support that.

Most people advise at least a 125 for balas I believe.

Yeah, the Bala's get longer than the 55 gal is wide.
