Can I put beach rocks in my 40 gal freshwater tank?

I was at the beach and collected these rocks, two of them didn't pass the vinegar test the first time but they did the second time

I guess the best answer is "probably". Unless your tank water is acidic, don't worry too much about Limestone. Look closely for any obvious metallic looking areas on the rocks. If present discard. Other members have commented that certain rocks that have been submerged in salt water can leach salt if placed in fresh water. I believe the reference was to dead coral or cleaned up living rock.
