Can Oscar And Cichlid Be Together?

I have a oscar and his about 3 1/2 inchies and I'm getting 20 cichlid tomorrow for free. I dont know what type are they yet until i see them and wondering can they live peaceful in a 75 gallon long? Only the Oscar live there by it self at the moment.

I wouldn't risk it. There are many cichlid species that may outgrow a 75 or get beaten up by the Oscar

Yea i think the oscar will eventually clear out all the cichlids cause im sure hes prob getting some africans which grow about five inches

I would setup a 75 for the oscar and another 75 for the other cichlids. Both would be stunning tanks.

With the Oscar being so small right now, you can gt away with it for a little while. But you would have to what your water quality carefully. If the are mixed Mbuna cichlids the Oscar will eventually eat them all.
