I bought this fish and have no idea of its name? Could someone help me and tell me some stuff about it?

Thumbs up for serpae tetra. I hope you got at least 3! Like all tetras, serpaes do best in schools- the bigger the school, the more lively, happy and healthy your serpaes will be.

I think they a generally peaceful, but IME, mine were nippy and got my angel.

It help to have at least 6 or them or more because aggression tends to stay directed within the school. The key word is "sometimes". They just tend to be nippy fish in general.

Serpae tetra. School of at least 6 if you have the tank size (preferably 10) will minimize the fin nipping.

Very beautiful fish. I want some for my tank, but I am pretty sure i'm a little overstocked :hide:
