I have a pair of swordtails that I purchased about a month ago. We have yet to figure out what they are though. They are not a standard type and the lps owner didn't even know what they were. We have determined they are half Pineapple(pictures do not capture their exact coloration) but can't figure out what the other half is. Any ideas?

Really, Huh the guy at the pet store said they might be a cross of green and pineapple. I have never seen a green swordtail so I had no idea

Most green swords don't have the black spots, but some do, naturally, depending where they originated from. I had some a few years ago, and still have the lineage in my variatus. All current colour varieties originated from the green.
