i have a 55 gal freshwater tank nothing has been setup yet but im not new to the hobbie and i want to build a canister filter i want to know if anyone knows how big the canister should be i was thinking 20 in by 4 in pipe with bio media and i also have a pool pump that i was going to use its flows at 1075 gph and if im correct thats almost 18 gpm may have to downsize the tubing from 2 in to about 1 in or 3/4 in is this to much like i said long time hobbiest first time builder any suggestion or advice thanks
