Here's a pic of my cat fish he use to b white with black stripes and recently noticed his strips are turning to spots and his white is turning black to grey. My water test all fine 0,0,20. Hope he's OK and he's about 5 1/2 inches now. I have a thred about my cats but I can't find it on this app

How long have you had him? My first thoughts are it is just changing colour to reflect its lighter/brighter substrate similar to how clown loaches do...

It's a syndontis catfish native to Africa. Most types of these cats will change a good bit in color and patterns when growing from juvenile to adult. It's perfectly normal.
