Cedar Driftwood good or bad?

I want to buy: Aquarium Driftwood Hollow Cedar Drift Wood | eBay
The seller says its 40 years old with normal tree smell.
Is cedar driftwood good?I heard some people say its toxic? Will pleco munch on it? And how do I waterlog it?

If it is real it is very, very bad. It is toxic to small pets that is why people don't use the shavings anymore.
