changing nursery tank into new home

I currently have a 10g set up for a nursery for my guppies. I want to put something pretty cool in there. I like the GBR's and cichlids. How many can I have in the tank? Any suggestions???

GBR are cichlids.
You need to answer a couple of Qs and then the suggestions will come flying in.
1~Will the guppies still live in the 10 gal?
2~Aside from GBRs, what cichlids did you have in mind?

I personally wouldnt put any cichlids into a 10g - but I suppose a pair of the dwarfs or other small peaceful ones might work out.

lol my bad. I plan on taking the guppies out. Not too picky about what fish I put in there just looking for something colorful and fun to watch.

A pair of GBR's would do ok, but they would prefer a little more space. They also prefer planted.
