Changing substrate

Today I redid the 20 gal with sand and got rid of the gravel. I will post some before and after pics when on my reg computer. What an ordeal LOL, making sure that the fish didn't get lost in the gravel removal. I was amazed even though I do regular deep gravel vacs at what gets stuck under the gravel! And I do not have a UGF! The sand will be much easier to clean. And so far the fish are loving it!

looks nice. I'm planning to add some seachem flourite to my 55g to make it more plant friendly..

do you have any tips for this besides just wash and mix ? I was thinking of maybe getting a tube or something to push the flourite through and then mix it after its on the bottom.. do you think thats sort of easible ?
