Changing tanks

So I have a school of harlequin rasborias in one tank and another school in another I want to bring them together whats the best way to do so

I have 5 in a 55g and I want to move them with my 6 in my 40g

Are the water temperatures the same? I usually just net them over and they do fine

Yeah they are both arty 81° just the ph is off alittle they are going from 7.4 to 7.8

Oh you can get an unused container and drip water from the tank your going to put them in into the container filled with water they just came out of.

The school I'm moving in are adults and the school that they are being added to are real little will this matter

Well they're peaceful fish for the most part so I wouldn't think so. I didn't it with two schools of tiger barbs the exact way you are and it worked perfectly.
